hi, i’m alex!

I was born in San Francisco in 2002, but Hawai‘i has been home since I was three. I’m a proud public school kid (shoutout Kaʻahumanu Elementary and Washington Middle) and graduated from McKinley High School in 2020 where I made history as the first female quarterback to start a varsity football game and throw a touchdown in the state of Hawai‘i.

My love for video production started in elementary school, and over the past 12+ years, I’ve worn every hat in the process from pre-production to post.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Creative Media from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa in May 2024 and have since worked as a social media manager and content creator for brands and artists across a range of industries—jewelry, mopeds, cafes, and more—crafting campaigns that connect.

I also run my own brand, Sharai Swimwear, which gives me firsthand experience with what it takes to grow a business in Hawai‘i. I know the value of supporting local and I am dedicated to working with your budgets, values, and goals to get you the results you want.

At the end of the day, I’m just a girl who turned her screen time into a career, and I’m excited to see where this creative journey takes me next! Looking forward to working with you!
